Instructions to follow before and during your health check-up
- Report for your health check-upafter fasting for a period of 8-10 hours overnight
- Collect urine and stool containers oneday prior to your appointed health check-up date. If unable to collect stool container from the hospital, please use a clean container of your choice for collecting stool sample, which can be procured from a local pharmacy.
- Delay your morning dose ofmedications on the day of your health check-up as consuming the dose prior to drawing your blood sample, may impact your results. The medications may include:
- Anti-diabetics (including insulin)
- Anti-hypertensive
- Anti-hypo/hyper thyroid Medication inhalers (asthma and COPD)
- Carry your medication with you forthe health check-ups so that you can consume them as soon as you are scheduled or advised to.
- For women, who are menstruating onthe day of the health check-up, kindly inform the doctors.
- In case you are pregnant or if you havemissed your period, do inform your doctor immediately on arrival as few tests may carry a risk of exposure to radiation, which may harm the foetus.
- Inform the doctors if you are diabeticor are suffering from any cardiovascular disorder/disease.
- We encourage you to wear comfortableclothing and footwear on the day of your health check-up. You may need to change clothes as required for some tests as well.
Don’ts
- Consume any solids or liquids except forwater during your period of fasting.
- Smoke/chew tobacco/consume alcoholon the day of your health check-up.
- Use any container other than thecontainer provided by the hospital for collecting urine samples.

- Person undergoing a whole bodycheck-up are advised to refrain fromusing deodorants/talcum powder on the day of the health check-up.

- Inflammatory Markers: Sedimentation Rate (ESR)
- Allergy Markers: IgE(total), Absolute eosinophil count (AEC)
- Lung Health Test: Chest X-Ray (PA), Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
- Sinus Health: X-Ray PNS Waters Views
- Consultation: Detailed History and Physical Examination with Complete Evaluation of Tests and Recommendations by General Physician , If He feels its necessary then will be seen by Pulmonologist
